For over twenty years, we have provided employers with the resources and information they need to address employee and subcontractor challenges.
We started DA Connections, as an employer resource for the many challenges in running your business. We would like to take this opportunity to briefly introduce you to some of the connections in this resource center.
Benefits & Human Resource Connections
- Employee Benefit Packages: No matter how big or small your company is, we will work with the employer to provide employees with a benefit package that’s sure to attract and retain employees.
- Employee handbook: Basic information about the company, policies and procedures that will comply with state and federal regulations.
- Employee benefit guide: Benefits have been looked at over the years as an employee right by including them in the employee handbook and given to new hires. Employee benefits renew from year to year and are no longer included in a company handbook. Benefits will be added and dropped from year to year given the economic environment of the company and industry.
- Employee newsletter: Helping employees to understand the vision, processes and procedures of the company, along with keeping them in touch with company changes.
- Employee training classes: Providing your employees with training in customer service, conflict resolution, and core values that will impact the direction, goals and performance of all aspects in their daily life.
Employee evaluations: Evaluations are a formal way to communicate with employee. Input from management and coworkers are helpful for the employee to improve in many ways, or to receive the recognition they deserve. Insurance companies have started to require companies to provide their employees with an annual evaluations. They see it as a way to help reduce the liability of an employee lawsuit. - Employee Hire / Terminations: Helping employers weed through resumes and do preliminary interviews for fit, before an employer ever sees the resume, has proven to be another added benefit. Terminations can be difficult. Making sure that procedures are followed will help keep morale up and liability down for the employer.
